The 6th annual OMCW! This year the event is moving to a new venue, the Woods and McKee Farms, on the outskirts of Spencerville, Ontario. This new location is south of Ottawa and approx. 2 hours closer to Toronto and the U.S. border. The new location is minutes from Hwy 401.

Royal Ontario Museum - Toronto
The Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts held an armoured tournament at the Royal Ontario Museum. Representatives of OMSG travelled to the tournament and distinguished themselves admirably.
University Center - Ottawa

Ottawa author Tara Natter will launch her French children's storybook. OMSG will be performing an Armoued Combat demonstration. Time: 2-4pm

Ottawa University Arts Courtyard
The Medieval Studies Student Association of Ottawa University will be holding a Medieval Faire where they will have booths set up with a variety of crafts people coming in to do demonstrations. The OMSG will be attending to showcase the martial arts practiced in the middle ages.
Seven Stars Ranch, Duclos, Québéc
Once again the Ottawa Medieval Sword Guild is hosting its annual Medieval Camping Weekend. This is a family camping event welcoming people of all ages and last year we had lots of young people with their parents.

Members of OMSG will be putting on a presentation of "How A Man Shall Be Armed" to 5th grade students. This historical hands-on lecture about the function of armour in the fourteenth and fifteenth century will be punctuated with a demonstration of armed battle for the kids.

OMSG again hosted the fourth annual summer Medieval Camping Weekend. This was an in-house "by invitation" event for chosen WMA groups and individuals to attend.
