The OMSG has been invited to be a part of the Canadian Museum of Civilization's Mythic Beasts Special Exhibition. From 8 pm to midnight, members of the OMSG will be a part of the show during the Mythic Bash intended for young adults at the museum. The 7th Annual OMCW! This will be the second year our annual gathering will be held at the Woods and McKee Farms just outside of Spencerville, Ontario. Judging from the feedback we have received about last year's event at the new location, this one should be better than ever!

The Ottawa Medieval Sword Guild will be performing at the Second Annual Medieval Faire held by Upper Canada Village. Once again, OMSG will have a booth where we will discuss and demonstrate the intricacies of 14th Century European Martial Arts to people of all ages in the summer sun. Once each day, OMSG schollers will put on a full-armoured demonstration of combat.

Metcalfe Centre, Maxville, Ontario
Members of the OMSG attended Glengarry Place for the Arts' Second Annual Medieval Feast held at the Metcalfe Centre in Maxville, Ontario. Guests were treated to historically authenic food, music, dancing... and, of course, medieval combat provided by OMSG.

The 6th annual OMCW! This year the event is moving to a new venue, the Woods and McKee Farms, on the outskirts of Spencerville, Ontario. This new location is south of Ottawa and approx. 2 hours closer to Toronto and the U.S. border. The new location is minutes from Hwy 401.

Members of the OMSG attended the first annual Medieval Faire held by Upper Canada Village with a tent and display table. Interactive demonstrations of both armoured and unarmoured combat were performed throughout the weekend.

Royal Ontario Museum - Toronto
The Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts held an armoured tournament at the Royal Ontario Museum. Representatives of OMSG travelled to the tournament and distinguished themselves admirably.
