Blazon: Or, a goat statant Gules.

Herald: Mathieu Ravignat (Herald, Ottawa Medieval Sword Guild)

Artist: Matthew McKee

Source: These arms are modified from an original ascribed to the Kovach name in Hungary.

Symbolism: The goat is a tenacious and endurant animal as well as being a good survivor. The bearer of the arms respects these qualities and hopes to emulate them as a practitioner of the European medieval martial arts. The position of the goat in the statant or defending position indicates the bearer’s combative nature.
