Blazon: Gules, semy billets Argent, charged a Lion rampant Or armed and langued Gules.

Crest: Upon a helmet mantled Argent doubled Gules a torse of the same, a demi Stag Or holding in the dexter hoof a Sword proper.

Herald: Mathieu Ravignat (OMSG, Herald)

Artist: Dan Sellars

Source: These arms are inspired by a connection to the place of origin of the bearer.

Symbolism: The red and white tinctures on the field are a reference to the national flags of England, the country of origin of the bearer, and Canada, his new home. The choice of using billets for the field was inspired by the use of billets on the arms of the Deincourt family. The manor of the village where the bearer grew up was owned by the Deincourts in the time when the Doomsday Book was compiled. The ‘Lion rampant Or’ was chosen as a reference to the works of Fiore Dei Liberi, where a Lion represents Audacity and Courage. It is also a reference to the Coat of Arms for England where a golden lion on a red background has been used in one form or another since the Norman Conquest.
