In 2003 members of the Ottawa Medieval Sword Guild travelled to three area schools for educational presentations. The demonstrations began with John being Armoured up while Anton explained the various parts of the armour.

Next, Anton and John worked through a series of fighting engagments with Poleaxe, Long Sword and Dagger. The engagements where fought full contact, and were ment to give students a feel for the true nature of medieval warfare. The presentations were concluded with a lengthy question-and-answer period.
